Snow… where for art thou?

This is what things looked like the weekend before Halloween:

After that, I was sure we were in for a brutal winter. I mean, who sees snow like that in October?

Well, I was wrong. It’s barely snowed since. Or even been cold for that matter. We’ve had more days in the upper 40s/low 50s than we’ve had truly cold ones. We’re being spoiled it’s weird.

At the end of this week, the weathermen started crying SNOW! for today. I was honestly kind of excited. I’m ready for a storm.

I woke up this morning and, like a little kid, ran to the window to see how much we got. I don’t think I could have been more disappointed – the grass wasn’t even covered under the trees!

Come on, snow! I’m ready for a snow day!
