Boston Weekend, Part 2

Sunday morning, we packed the car with pink and went off to surprise two of the Moms of the group. Edgar loved all the pink - I'm pretty sure he said it was his favorite color.

The boys weren't really interested in baby stuff. They spent the day watching football (and, according to this picture, some Katie Holmes movie).

One of the girls, Krissy, has an adorable little girl. Another, Maria, is expecting a girl early next year. The rest of us put together a little celebration. Not a full on shower, more like a sprinkle.

We managed to surprise both Moms simultaneously - no small feat!

After the sprinkle, we all went up to Krissy's parents house for Sunday dinner. In true Italian style, they had fresh-made pasta, gravy, meatballs... the usual. It was all fantastic.

And so was Krissy's family! Dinner was fun - full of conversation and laughing.

After dinner we had to head home, unfortunately. Five hours doesn't sound like a long trip until you're driving it!

  2. Ha, I think I was watching that Katie Holmes movie too. Stuck on everything that has to do with DC.

    And love the "Sprinkle" part.

  3. The sprinkle was exciting but very stressful! lol I loved how we hid out in the car until we were able to run inside to do our 5 minute set up! The guys were great during the whole thing-I think I even caught a couple of them checking out the gifts to see what the girls had gotten! lol So cute.
