After I got engaged, I met a whole load of great girls online who were getting married the same month. It's been almost two years and a lot of us still talk everyday. Even though I've never met most of them in real life, I consider them great friends.
Last night, I had the fortunate pleasure of meeting two of them: Nicole and Emily. Nicole is from Oregon and she flew in yesterday - will be staying here for a week. (You'd think, having never met someone before it would be a little difficult to pick them out in an airport crowd - not so!) Emily lives only about an hour away but we never got our schedules to mesh enough to meet up. After scooping up Nicole from the airport, we met up with Emily for dinner.
What a fun time! If we weren't so exahsted we probably could have taked for another couple hours.
I feel so lucky to have connected with such great girls and really hope that over the next few years I'll get to meet more of them in person.
